Firebase backends
for fast movers.

Auth, realtime data and hosting assembled into production apps, ideal for MVPs, mobile companions and realtime products.

Why Firebase

Skip the backend
plumbing, ship the product.

Most early-stage apps need the same five things: login, database, storage, notifications, hosting. Firebase provides all five managed, letting two-week-old products behave like year-two products. Knowing when it will outgrow itself is part of our job.

  • Minutes-to-auth signup flows
  • Realtime UI updates
  • Push notifications
  • Rules-based security
  • Offline persistence
  • Usage-based pricing

What we build

Six ways we build
with Firebase.

Each engagement shaped around your goals rather than a fixed package.

01

MVP backends

Complete app infrastructure stood up in days, not months.

MVPs
02

Auth implementations

Social, email and phone login with secure rules enforced client-side.

Auth
03

Realtime features

Chats, live dashboards and collaboration via Firestore listeners.

Realtime
04

Mobile companions

Flutter apps paired with Firebase data, push and analytics.

Mobile
05

Functions & triggers

Server-side logic reacting to data events, billed per use.

Serverless
06

Rules audits

Over-permissive security rules found and tightened.

Reality checks

Great until
queries get relational.

Firestore loves document-shaped access and hates ad-hoc joins. We model collections around screens, pre-aggregate where lists need sums, and flag early when requirements drift toward territory SQL handles better. Migration paths stay documented from day one.

Screen-shaped modelsCollections match views, not entities.
Rule-testedEmulator suites verify permissions.
Listener hygieneDetached promptly, billed minimally.
Cost dashboardsRead/write budgets watched weekly.

The ecosystem

A platform that
travels with the app.

SDKs reach every platform we build on, which keeps Firebase coherent across web and Flutter clients.

Our process

Screens first,
collections second.

Firebase rewards designing the UI and deriving the data layer, almost backwards on purpose.

01

Screen inventory

Views listed with their exact data and update needs.

Step 01
02

Collection design

Documents shaped per screen, rules drafted alongside.

Step 02
03

Build on emulators

Fast iteration locally, costs zero while iterating.

Step 03
04

Ship & observe

Production rollout with budgets, alerts and Crashlytics live.

Step 04

Cost & safety

Rules reviewed,
spends capped.

Firebase horror stories are almost always open rules or runaway functions, both preventable.

Least-privilege rules

Default deny, exceptions justified.

Budget alarms

Function storms detected within minutes.

Exit documentation

Export paths recorded in case of growth beyond fit.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is Firebase good beyond MVP stage?

Many products ride it long-term. Heavy relational reporting is where exits usually begin, planned early when likely.

Vendor lock-in, how bad?

Auth and functions port awkwardly; Firestore exports exist. We document extraction paths regardless.

Can it handle my web + Flutter app?

That combination is its sweet spot, shared data, auth and push across both.

What does it cost realistically?

Free tier covers prototypes; production bills track usage. Budget alerts come standard with our work.

Are security rules enough protection?

They are the actual firewall, and they deserve tests. We treat them like production code.

Can Firebase replace my whole backend?

For CRUD-centric products, largely yes. Complex domain logic eventually wants Functions or a real service.
